The Night Gardener
This book called The Night Gardener is a horror book and the author is Jonathan Auxier and in this book two orphans named Molly which is fourteen and Kip which is ten go to England because they had to be servants in a manor house. When they get there, an old lady answers the door and greets them but not like they are servants but like they are her grandchildren which later on she says she is their grandmother.
Molly and Kip get confused when they hear that she is their grandmother. Then when they go to bed Kip sees a dark figure in the backyard and runs to Molly’s room and tells Molly about the figure but when she goes to see she doesn’t see anything. Then they find a door that is locked and that only the grandfather and grandmother can go into but then they find the key to the room and… What’s in the room? Do they really have a grandmother?
